香港の本店以来コロナで行けず、ようやくシンガポール店に行く事が出来ました。でも、味が違う！醤油や辛子などの準備がされていない。などなど？？？？？な状態でした。国が違うからでしょうか？少し残念な気がしました。もう一度香港に行くしか無いのかな？ Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Dining at Tim Ho Wan at Jewel Changi is always a familiar comfort for anyone who enjoys Hong Kong-style dim sum, but this recent visit genuinely felt like an upgrade in both food quality and overall experience. We ordered a wide selection from the menu, mainly classic dim sum staples, and the consistency across dishes stood out more than before. The baked items were especially well-executed, with crisp, golden pastry layers and well-seasoned fillings that didn’t feel overly heavy. The steamed dim sum also arrived fresh and piping hot, with textures that were soft but still structured, showing clear attention to timing in the kitchen. The real surprise of the meal was the stir-fried radish cake. It was easily the highlight of the table—well-seared on the outside with a slight crisp edge, while the inside remained soft and flavourful. The wok hei was noticeable without being overpowering, and the balance of seasoning made it addictive enough that it disappeared quickly from the plate. It’s not always a dish people order first, but here it absolutely deserves attention. Service was another area that felt improved. Staff were more attentive and responsive, clearing plates efficiently and checking in without being intrusive. Even during a busy dining period, the flow of dishes was well managed, and there was less waiting time between orders compared to previous visits. Overall, the experience at Tim Ho Wan Jewel Changi felt more refined than expected. Between the upgraded consistency in food and the noticeably smoother service, it delivers a solid dim sum outing in a highly convenient location. It’s the kind of place that works equally well for a casual meal or a planned stop while visiting Jewel, and definitely worth revisiting. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: SGD 20–30
