Cozy place. Mainly giving it 4* as I do not find restaurants which give rewards for 5* as ethical, but it is a marketing strategy. Unique kaya bread as I feel the unnatural sweetness of the usual kaya was watered down, but the essence and natural sweetness of the coconut really pulled through instead. I prefer this more to the usual Yakun and comparable to Heap Seng, with a more modern twist. Mushroom soup could be served as an entrée in western restaurants and pass quality checks. I think it was decent with chunky bits of mushroom that disintegrated slowly as you chew. Overall, good ! Will come again. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Got to know about Tina's cafe on social media, and finally made a trip down. It was pretty quiet on a Saturday late afternoon, which I actually prefers. There were quite a variety of items on the menu but I was really hoping for just a few signature items that comes with stories like owner's favourite dishes from Tina, that would stands out from the saturated cafe scene in Everton Park area, rather than the usual cafe breakfast or Nasi Lemak and kaya toast etc. This place probably serves the residents who wanted an air conditioned space to settle their meals. Meal type: Other Price per person: SGD 1–10 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

A Hidden HDB Gem Worth Visiting Tina’s Cafe is the kind of place you stumble upon once and then keep going back to. The service is really good—orders come out fast, the staff are friendly, and you can feel that they genuinely care. Big appreciation to the manager as well for hiring team members with special needs. It gives the cafe a warm, inclusive vibe that you don’t often see. The space is small, but in a good way. There are enough seats to sit comfortably, and it doesn’t feel stuffy or overcrowded. It’s cozy without being cramped, which makes it easy to relax. It’s also a nice spot for WFC. Comfortable enough to open your laptop, sip your drink, and get things done without feeling rushed or out of place. The atmosphere is calm and easygoing. Overall, Tina’s Cafe is a hidden and affordable little gem in the HDB area. Good service, a comfortable space, and a heartwarming team make it a place that’s simple, honest, and worth visiting.
