Wen Wen Jiak Nasi Lemak - A new store started business early September 2024. This store took over the previous nasi lemak store left end August 2024 after about 10 years at the Tiong Wah Restaurant. 10/09/2024 Tuesday - Take away Set A x 2 packs at S$3.60 each. First time tried using previous store as benchmark. 1. Still warm at home when opened after 40 minutes.. 2. Nice cut cucumber provided. 3. Eggs well fried. 4. Ikan bilis and peanuts are separated, fresh. 5. Fried chicken wings are well done, crispy, cut when packed. 6. Nasi Lemak Chili sauce taste good, sweet, non-spicy. Bought Set A (S$3.60) as seen on photos. However, Set B (S$3.80?) and Set C (S$4.50) - Taken aback because Set B includes sausage, while Set C includes luncheon meat. As we preferred non-processed food, would be good if B and C has options for customer can replace the sausage and luncheon meat with other dishes at the similar prices. Overall, Set A is good, will buy again. Hopefully this young couple seller can make some improvements on their menu. Prices are reasonable at current inflation state for them to survive with relatively high store rental. CKL 10 September 2024 Tuesday 1.40pm Singapore.
