Had lunch here recently and was pleasantly surprised that there was hardly any crowd, which made for a very relaxing dining experience. This was actually my second visit to Tipo at Aliwal Street because I already knew they serve really good pasta, and once again, they did not disappoint. The pasta was delicious and lived up to my expectations. The ingredients tasted fresh, the flavours were well-balanced, and it was evident that care had gone into preparing each dish. It's one of those places that consistently delivers quality, which is why I found myself returning. As for the ambience, the interior design leans towards a rather pink-themed aesthetic, which isn't quite to my personal taste. That said, this is purely a matter of individual preference and certainly did not take away from the overall dining experience. Overall, I had a very enjoyable meal and a pleasant experience. Great food, a cosy atmosphere, and reliable quality make this a place I would gladly revisit again in the future. this is our 7th time here (yes i counted) and will always be one of my fav pasta places because of the consistency in food! to be honest most cafe pastas taste more or less the same to me but what we enjoyed here was how fast they served the pasta and the service of the staff which definitely makes our feel that the pasta tasted much better!! when i came by 2 months ago, nizam was extremely hospitable towards us and help to reccomend the best pastas, hence i came back today again to try out the other flavours! for me the service is always the most important hence i will definitely be back again to support tipo, thank you for maintaining the standard of the pasta, wishing for the calamari rings to be back hahah that’s what made me come back when i first came by in 2022!!
