Food is normal as you expect from any Toastbox. Environment is quite bad. The seating area outside the main store is dirty and seems like not properly clean. Same for the cutlery and plates, some still have dirt on them. The bigger Viet lady who work here has a bit of an issue with her attitude. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I dropped by Toast Box for an afternoon coffee today. I was impressed by the staff as they were efficient and managed to clear the queue quickly. The atmosphere was cosy too, making it a nice spot to take a break. Price per person: SGD 1–10 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

It’s been around a year since I last had brunch at Toast Box. Fun fact: I actually tried Mee Rebus for the very first time at Toast Box. After that, I’ve had so-called authentic Mee Rebus from various hawker centre and coffee shop stalls. But only the one at Toast Box tastes the best to me. Their gravy is absolutely amazing. I always finish every last bit of it, not leaving a single drop. Sometimes I even pack the leftover gravy back to dip dumplings — trust me, it sounds crazy but it’s incredibly delicious.
