On 22/7/2026, there was an aunty who taking order. Prior to the order, I told her that I wanted the promo set $9.9. She asked me whether I want the braised pork set. I told her, “No, I wanted the chicken /pork cutlet set.” She then quickly asked her colleague to take over. I was confused of the rude behaviour. I wondered if she understood the word “cutlet”. Then, the Indian worker took over and settled the order precisely. This was over until I heard loud quarrel from the kitchen. The previous aunty who didnt know how to take order properly, argued with the cook, customer wants chicken cutlet but we only have pork chop. She kept on repeating over and over again. It was so loud that it affected the atmosphere of the dining area. Been dining in this place for a few times and quite like this place. But the rude behaviour really pissed me off. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: SGD 1–10 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

It's a Roadside Toastbox in the local market near the "Sixth Avenue" MRT Station, Accessible on the Blue line MRT. Toastbox taste & experience is same as with most others. Staff is courteous. Space was well maintained though it's a small cozy 12ft x 20ft dining single enclosure with Roadside view (not a busy road). I also tried Chicken Noodles soup which was very good. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: SGD 10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Toastbox always serves great Nanyang coffee. This branch has a good vibe especially for lazy Sunday afternoons. Both in-store and alfresco dining options are available. I can think of only one draw back...store front faces a busy street but it's not a big deal breaker. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
