Tried Tobiya Ramen today after seeing a recommendation online, and I'm glad I did. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen, and from the first sip, I could tell the soup was made with care. The aroma was amazing, and the broth had a depth of flavor that felt genuinely authentic. If I had to guess, it seemed to be based on a chicken broth with layers of umami that made it both comforting and satisfying. What impressed me most was how "Japanese" it tasted. The broth had real character and balance, reminding me of ramen I've enjoyed in Japan. At around 180 THB, the quality is honestly remarkable. I also tried the gyoza and karaage, and both were excellent. The gyoza was crispy on the outside with a juicy filling, while the karaage was flavorful, crispy, and perfectly cooked. The restaurant has a simple, cozy atmosphere that matches the food—humble, welcoming, and focused on quality rather than hype. If you're around Thonburi or Phutthamonthon Sai 2 and looking for authentic Japanese-style ramen at a very reasonable price, Tobiya Ramen is absolutely worth a visit. The ramen is delicious and reasonably priced! However, the service could be a bit tidier, and the queue could be smoother. Also, the wait time for food is a bit long. Price per person: ฿200–400 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
