If you found that the durian tasted bitter, was not sweet, or was not to your liking, you could have informed our staff immediately. We would have been happy to check it and replace it for you. 1. Regarding the quality of the durian Durian is a natural fruit, and unfortunately, it is not always possible to know whether an individual fruit will taste bitter or lack sweetness before it is opened and tasted. This is especially true during the rainy season and toward the end of the durian season, when the quality of the fruit we receive from farms may not be as consistent as during peak season. We sincerely apologize that the durian you received did not meet your expectations. 2. Regarding the 299 THB menu you mentioned The 299 THB item shown in the photo you posted is our Durian Kakigori. However, the item you actually ordered was a different menu called “Cold Durian” (ทุเรียนเย็น), which consists of durian, coconut ice cream, and Thai sticky rice. This is a dessert that we intentionally created and serve in Thailand. It is a completely different menu from our 299 THB Durian Kakigori. Therefore, we would respectfully like to clarify that the sticky rice and coconut ice cream were not added to cover up the quality or taste of the durian, as suggested in your review. They are the original components of this particular menu. We respect every customer’s right to share their experience. At the same time, as a business, we also believe we have the right to clarify the facts when there may have been a misunderstanding. TOKYO LAND has always aimed to treat our customers with honesty and transparency.
