For the price point, I’d say the taste of the noodles is quite mediocre. Maybe it’s the just soup variation. I’ve come to this outlet before at a different mall and tried the dry variation which was much better. Just tasted so-so to me. If I return probably wouldn’t try this. Price per person: SGD 10–20 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Bad. Very bad. Staff with name Jahid is not fit to be in this service. Arrogant, rude & completely disgusting attitude. I got my bill charged wrongly but instead of being apologetic, this guy tells me off to use my calculator to recount. After his mistakes have been proved, still insisted he is correct. Worst, he had the receipt altered by changing some items prices to match the total bill. Management please be aware and look into this seriously. This experience has given me second thoughts of patronizing this outlet anymore. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Tokyo Shokudo is a solid spot for real Japanese comfort food. The vibe’s chill and cozy, with clean, simple decor that feels authentic but not over the top. The ramen broth is rich and flavorful, noodles cooked just right, and toppings fresh as hell. Their donburi bowls, especially the beef gyudon, hit that sweet-savory spot perfectly with generous portions. Appetizers like takoyaki and gyoza are crispy, juicy, and damn tasty. Drinks-wise, they serve decent sake and Japanese beers that pair well with the food. Staff are friendly and quick, making the whole experience smooth. If you want legit Japanese flavors without the fuss, Tokyo Shokudo’s the place. Solid food, good vibe, no bullshit. Worth checking out.
