今まで訪れた猫カフェの中で、最も環境が良くないと感じたお店でした。 入店した瞬間から強い臭いがあり、最初はトイレや排水の臭いかと思いました。しかし猫を飼っている友人によると、猫砂が十分に清掃されていない時のような臭いだと言っていました。店内に5分ほどいただけでくしゃみと鼻水が止まらなくなり、店を出てからもしばらく症状が続きました。 店内の衛生状態も気になりました。猫じゃらしの持ち手はベタついており、猫の毛もたくさん付着していて、そのまま使う気にはなれませんでした。 また、このお店は禁煙ではありません。店内で喫煙が行われていましたので、煙が苦手な方やお子様連れの方は事前に知っておいた方がよいと思います。 そして何より気になったのは猫たちの様子です。私が訪れた日は、多くの猫が元気がなく、全体的に活気を感じませんでした。もちろん、その日の様子だけで全てを判断することはできませんが、とても心配になりました。 動物を保護する活動そのものは尊敬していますし、多くの猫のお世話が大変であることも理解しています。しかし、私は「保護した数」が多いことよりも、「保護した動物たちを幸せに暮らさせること」の方が大切だと思います。 十分な時間、労力、スペース、そして経済的な余裕がないまま保護を増やし続けることは、本当に動物たちのためになっているのでしょうか。それとも、人間自身が満足するためになってしまっているのでしょうか。 優しさはもちろん大切です。しかし、それと同じくらい責任と能力も必要だと思います。本当に責任ある保護とは、「何匹保護したか」ではなく、「保護した命が健康で、快適で、尊厳を持って暮らせているか」だと私は考えます。 今後は「保護」という言葉だけではなく、衛生環境や猫たちの福祉にも、より一層力を入れていただけることを願っています。 This was, without question, the worst cat café I have ever visited. The smell hit me the moment I walked through the door. At first I honestly thought there was a sewage problem or that the restroom had backed up. A friend who owns cats told me it smelled exactly like litter boxes that hadn’t been cleaned properly. Within five minutes I was sneezing nonstop and my nose was running. Even after leaving, it took more than half an hour before I felt normal again. The hygiene was appalling. The cat wand provided for customers was sticky, covered in cat hair, and unpleasant to touch. For a business that charges admission comparable to other cat cafés, the cleanliness and overall maintenance were shockingly poor. Another thing visitors should know: this is not a non-smoking establishment. People were smoking inside, which made an already unpleasant environment even worse. What broke my heart the most was the condition of the cats. Many of them appeared lethargic, disengaged, and lacking the curiosity and energy I’ve seen in cats at other cafés. I understand that cats sleep a lot, but the overall atmosphere left me feeling deeply uncomfortable rather than relaxed. I genuinely respect animal rescue. But rescue should never become a shield against criticism. I’ve always believed that rescue is not about how many animals you can collect—it’s about whether you can truly give them a good life. If you don’t have the time, resources, space, or financial ability to maintain proper hygiene, provide adequate care, and ensure the animals’ welfare, then taking in more and more cats is not something to celebrate. Kindness alone is not enough. Responsibility matters just as much. The measure of responsible rescue is not how many cats you’ve saved, but whether the cats you’ve already rescued are living healthy, comfortable, and dignified lives. 毎日スターロードを通っており、近くの店にも行っていますが、はっきり言って公害です。 臭すぎる。 私は猫は大好きで飼ってもきました。 それなりに猫のにおいにも慣れて生きてきたつもりですがこの店はあまりにもひどすぎます。 店には行くつもりは毛頭ありませんがそういう問題ではありません。 周りに迷惑です。 早急に対処して下さい。 大迷惑です。
