The chicken rice is supposed to be good. I say supposed because this is a franchise and the workers here are salaried. There should be a SOP way of preparing the food. But the service here is the worst I’ve seen across the hawker scene. Feels like they were hired fresh out of prison school, from the way some of them talk to you. Also the way they prepare your food is very inconsistent. There’s one guy who works late afternoon to evening who always undercooks the rice terribly. This is the guy who got into a shouting match with a customer. And one guy wearing a black cap who serves the chicken rice with ingredients missing like cucumbers. Would at least appreciate a heads up before ordering but nope. I’ve seen the employees here get into shouting matches with customers. That should tell you something. These employees are running the business into the ground. This stall is planning to close down by the end of March 2026, supposedly according to one of the employees. Good riddance honestly. I suggest people to get their chicken rice fix elsewhere. Don’t support this stall. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Ordered half a chicken takeaway. Saw that there was a whole chicken that he could have cut which is quite normal for all stalls. Instead..he added up different older parts together. Horrible. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

I thought different outlet will be different, ends up it is all the same. Used to eat at other outlet but after few tries found that they are not honest. Big and small portion basically the same, mayb 1 or 2 pieces more? But you are paying $1 more. At first thought that ordering big portion, maybe the chicken will be thicker, but actually it is just cucumber underneath. No more Tong Fong Fatt chicken rice in my life.
