Tried the classic rosu katsu made from Kagoshima pork. Cutlet was thick but slightly dry. My lunch mates commented that the Hokkaido rosu katsu and thick cut katsu were more tender. The restaurant offers free rice and cabbage refill. Two different salad dressings are available, along with the sauce for mixture into the ground sesame seeds. Tonkatsu Enbiton's location at the Fountain of Wealth especially loud during peak hours. Nearby offerings such as Saboten in Millenia Walk wings hands down for quality and ambience, while Japanese brand Katsu-An is super affordable for a casual fast food quality. The cutlet was juicy and good. Ramen Soup not very salty but it’s savoury. It’s fulfilling. We were there during lunchtime. No Queue at all Expect noise from nearby businesses Meal type: Lunch Price per person: SGD 10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

There is little to no noticeable difference between the Hokkaido and the classic Rosu katsu, despite the significant price gap, which makes it hard to justify the higher cost. The ramen was decent, with a reasonably flavourful broth, and the free flow of rice, soup, and cabbage is a nice touch. The cheesy katsu was quite average. The amount of cheese was insufficient, and it tended to stick to the pot provided, making it less enjoyable to eat. However, the overall experience was let down by the service. The staff’s attitude towards customers was disappointing and could definitely be improved with better training. This negatively impacted the dining experience.
