Had such a wonderful dinner here, the fried pork loin and tempura was lovely! Do head in early or make a reservation, waiting line might be long during dinner service.

Get the premium royal pork katsu. The difference in the taste of meat justifies the price difference.

The hype is legit. These are indeed the best tonkatsu in town. Manila has a HUGE tonkatsu industry but Tonkichi beats the tonkatsu shops I've tried in Manila by a mile.
