Awesome atmosphere Top Secret feels like one of those rare Bangkok bars that manages to stay grown-up without being dull. The crowd tends to skew 40s plus but it isn’t exclusive it just attracts people who appreciate a smoother atmosphere. Music is loud enough to keep things alive but still lets you talk without yelling. Lighting is warm, not blinding. Drinks are priced fairly for the area and poured strong, with the staff remembering regulars fast. The vibe hits a sweet spot between lounge and local spot no chaos, no pressure, just good energy and conversation. It’s the kind of place where you can start a quiet night and accidentally stay until closing because the people are actually interesting. If you’re tired of the usual tourist noise or the 20-something club circuit, this place is worth knowing. I have been a customer of this bar for many years and have always felt at home and safe. For the past two years Covid has kept me away from BKK but in June we will return and look forward to spending many happy hours enjoying the company and playing pool. Thank goodness it has survived the lack of visitors over the last two years.
