Having seen Eurasian Heritage Centre, it's time to have a rest at Touchwood Breakfast Bar. This place has received Google 5 according to the guests' opinions.

Fantastic little spot off the beaten path around the Joo Chiat area. I've visited twice with my mum, and we really enjoy their breakfast sandwiches. They use their own homemade English muffins, which are fantastically crispy and soft. It's extremely value for money as well, going for $15 (nett price) for a breakfast sandwich and coffee, with no additional upcharge if you order a cold coffee. Service is extremely warm and friendly too - on both visits, where we visited around 8:15 a.m., we were also given mini croissant bakes on the house which were fantastic too. Between both visits, we've tried all 4 of their English Muffin Sandwiches and would rate them, in order of preference, as follows: 1. Smashed Egg, Bacon & Onion 2. Cheesy Egg Mushroom 3. Ham & Cheese Omelette 4. Sausage & Cheese They also have small bakes on the side - we haven't tried them, but they look really yummy and seem popular. Highly recommend this place. Just note that as it's a small shop space, the indoor dining spots only include 1 bench (no table) and 3 standing tables. There are seats available, but they are camping chairs located outdoors by the walkway, so older folks with mobility issues may have some trouble sitting in them and getting up after. Corn crusted English muffin had a good texture: thin cripsy skin and having some resistance white biting into it. Personally prefer as it as instead of as a sandwich.

The muffins is good, the coffee is good(even beats a lot of cafe shops), the atmosphere is good, will come back again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: SGD 10–20
