If Robinson Crusoe opened a little beach restaurant it would look like this. Family-run, simple and relaxed, on an idyllic lesser-known stretch of beach, tasty Thai food served on rustic tables & benches, with driftwood beach swings & fresh coconuts served from the surrounding palm trees. What a great place! Definitely worth the easy hike across the south side of Koh Ngai. (Cash only, obviously) Price per person: ฿1–200 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Warning! Food poisoning!!! I ate at this restaurant today (shrimp with noodles and a mango pancake). Three hours later, I vomited and had severe diarrhea! I already had a bad feeling when I realized this restaurant didn't even have running water and I found an ant in my food. I should have listened to my gut! I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿200–400
