I really liked this place. Nice family who runs this small restaurant and boutique. Even though I never ate any food, I just bought drinks, snacks and fresh coconuts. This place feels like the authentic Thailand. And fair prices aswell!

Man and Joy are both so heartwarming! We’ve spent to days in a row with them just chatting, eating their amazing food and drinking the biggest coconuts we’ve ever seen. It was so nice to listen to Man’s life stories. Secretly hint: ask for his “Cuba Libre”. Meal type: Other Price per person: ฿1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If Robinson Crusoe opened a little beach restaurant it would look like this. Family-run, simple and relaxed, on an idyllic lesser-known stretch of beach, tasty Thai food served on rustic tables & benches, with driftwood beach swings & fresh coconuts served from the surrounding palm trees. What a great place! Definitely worth the easy hike across the south side of Koh Ngai. (Cash only, obviously) Price per person: ฿1–200 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
