Wouldn’t recommend coming here Very very simple hostel, only one shower/toilet per 3 rooms. You have to pass another room on the way to your room (maybe you might sleep in the room that’s on everybody’s way). They don’t offer any towels, and when we asked them, they suggested we’d go buy in 7-11 Service: 1

We believe your review is extremely unfair and misleading. First of all, you arrived close to midnight. During check-in, our manager clearly explained the hostel environment, shared facilities, and room layout in detail. If the accommodation did not meet your expectations, you were free to cancel and leave at that time. Second, this is a budget hostel charging around 400+ NTD per night, not a hotel. The facilities and setup are clearly described before booking. Complaining that a hostel is “simple” after booking one of the cheapest accommodations available is unreasonable. Regarding towels: you never asked the manager directly during check-in while staff were present. Instead, you interrupted our helper late at night after towels had already all been rented out. We did not “refuse” service — we simply had no towels left at that hour, so we suggested the nearest convenience store as an alternative. We always respect guests from every country. However, respect should go both ways. Leaving an exaggerated and hostile review while ignoring the actual situation is disappointing and disrespectful to the people working hard to host you. I've had a great experience staying at Tranquilo Hostel! The owner is very accommodating and their staff are very friendly, they are alwyas happy to help!
