Listen to the reviews and please read this before booking. This is not a 4 star hotel. I’ve stayed at better 3 stars before. If you can ignore everything about the hotel and only care about a bed to sleep in, you will be fine but I strongly suggest reading this and thinking whether you want to sign up for this. In fact, I ended up checking out early and leaving to a new modern 4 star hotel which was only £100-£200 more. Pros: *most* of the room was clean rooms were cleaned to a good standard housekeeping staff were lovely Cons: As you first walk into the lobby, you are greeted by an overpowering stench of mould. Like a sickening, disgusting smell that hits you every time you walk into the lobby. Rooms are dark, old, and smell of mould and stale cigarettes WiFi was so slow that I had to use my data. This is certainly not just a “Thailand thing”. Hotel is far from everything and on a big hill. This obviously isn’t the hotel’s fault but just something to keep in mind. 20-25 minute walk to the beach! 40 mins to Bangla road. 3 mins up/down a massive hill to seven eleven. Breakfast is terrible. I thought people were being dramatic. But the breakfast room had a disgusting smell, there was no selection, and food was very low quality. The smell itself put me off breakfast. If you want to shower, forget about it because there is no hot water. If by any chance hot water randomly appears, it will be scalding hot and you will be unable to shower anyway. How disappointing. Entrance is not welcoming at all with just a tiny sign. It looks more like a residential area than a 4 star hotel. Taxis regularly missed where the hotel was Hotel has a strange vibe, why the “no smoking cannabis” signs in the elevators? A great welcome. Elevators are old. Just a very unpleasant atmosphere in general A huge security risk is the fact that the keycards have the room number printed on them!!! As someone who works in a hotel, this is very dangerous because if the keycard gets lost, anyone is able to enter the room. Keycards do not have to belong to a specific room as they are encoded so I have no idea what the reasoning behind this is. This is NOT standard practice whatsoever, in no hotel (whether 3 or 5 stars) have I ever experienced this. The bathroom had no privacy as there was no door apart from the shower glass. The bathroom window curtain was dirty and see through when the lights were on in the room. No one to greet you or take your luggage Strange design of bathroom where you have to sit on the toilet at an angle? The mould and damp walls are a genuine health hazard Clearly bad management with no basic knowledge of safety and security if you’re allowing 1. The stench of mould to remain in the lobby creating a health hazard for the staff and guests inhaling it everyday and 2. keycards with room numbers printed on them! Overall I’d 100% avoid unless you genuinely just need a bed! But the smell of mould in the lobby is unforgettable, the way it would hit you as soon as you walked in - please look at the attached photos and videos! Service: 3

Went in march'26. Our room had a balcony, was pretty clean. Hotel has a restaurant which just serves breakfast till 10:30 am. For lunch and dinner, restaurant is closed because of renovation may be. No Indian food options, we had breakfast for 2 days. In breakfast for vegetarians only fruits, bread, and oats/ chocos are available. Swimming pool area is average, water did not look clean.bathroom was very small in the room we occupied, specially the commode was located in very restricted area. Patong beach is not at walkable distance. Service: 3

1/5 – Very Disappointing Stay Not Worth the Money My stay at Kana Triple L Hotel in Phuket was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have had. I booked a suite through Booking.com, expecting a comfortable and well-maintained room. Unfortunately, when we checked in, we discovered that the shower head was broken, which is unacceptable for a suite-level room. This was especially frustrating because we had already experienced a long flight delay before arriving in Phuket, and we were extremely tired. Instead of a smooth check-in and a functioning room, we had to wait for staff to come and fix something that should have been checked before guests arrive. What made the experience worse was the attitude of the staff. I informed the hotel in advance that our flight was delayed. While I understand hotels have booking policies, the response we received was very dismissive. We were basically told that the delay was our problem, and they could not offer any flexibility or even communicate with basic courtesy. Hospitality is not only about having rooms available — it is about how guests are treated, especially when they arrive after difficult travel situations. Summary of our experience: • Poor room maintenance (broken shower in a suite) • Rude and unhelpful staff • Lack of empathy or basic hospitality • Poor value for the money paid Phuket has many wonderful hotels that genuinely care about their guests. Unfortunately, this was not one of them. My advice to travelers: Be careful before booking here and read recent reviews carefully. Otherwise, you may end up paying for an experience that does not match the price or expectations. Service: 1
