通い始めて34年。代替わりして更に人気店になる工夫に恐れ入ります。 化学調味料ばんばん使いますが何か？というスタイルがまた好き。 休日のチャーシューは10:00くらいまでに入店必須。 里帰りする度必ず行きたい銘店です。 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

月曜日昼間に。並びはなくてすぐ入れました。つけチャーシャーは売り切れ、具増しに。昔の親父さん女将さんの時より麺の美味しさは感じないが安定感のある美味しさです。スープは甘さにやや寄っている感じ。たまに食べたくなる懐かしいつけ麺。 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Tsukesoba Marunaga After about 30 years, I finally revisited this place. I happened to be nearby and decided to drop in with a friend, chasing that nostalgic flavor I used to love. When I arrived, I was surprised to see the shutters open — the place looked slightly different. The person behind the counter might be the son of the original owners. Back in the day, the shop was run by an older couple, serving just 100 bowls a day until sold out. It was so good that I used to come three times a week. I even joked with the owner once, “If your son won’t take over, I will!” This time, I ordered the Zaru Chashu. My friend went for the large size. But… something felt off. The taste wasn’t the same. Of course, my palate may have changed over 30 years, but even so, something was clearly different. My friend whispered, “It’s not the same, right?” and I quietly nodded. Maybe the noodles or ingredients have changed. I overheard another older customer at the counter say, “The flavor’s not like it used to be.”. The chef replied, “I’m making it the same way as always,” and I realized — it wasn’t just us who felt that way. Long ago, the shop was filled with warmth and conversation. I once told the owner, “Let me work here part-time!”. He smiled and said, “A hundred bowls, a hundred thousand yen — that’s enough. We’re grateful for that, and our bodies can’t take more.” There was no Google Reviews back then, but now, even though it exists, this shop no longer replies. It feels like the human connection that once defined the place has faded away. Maybe it’s just business now. But perhaps — if they start listening to each review, one by one, the old familiar flavor might just find its way back again. ⸻ つけそば丸長 約30年ぶりに訪問しました。 たまたま近くを通ることになり、懐かしい味を求めて友人と2人で立ち寄りました。 お店に着いてびっくり。 あれ、シャッターが開いてる？ どこか昔と違う雰囲気。 中で働いているのは、もしかして息子さんでしょうか。 当時はおじさんとおばさんの2人で切り盛りしていて、1日100食限定の営業だったと記憶しています。 美味しくて、週3で通ったほど。 「息子さんが継がないなら、私が跡を継ぎますよ！」なんて冗談を言ったこともありました。 今回はざるチャーシューを注文。友人は大盛り。 しかし、期待とは裏腹に… なんか違う。 もちろん30年も経てば、自分の味覚も変わったとは思います。 でも、それだけじゃない“何か”が違うのは確か。 友人も小声で「これ、違うよね…」と。 もしかしたら、使っている麺や材料も変わったのかもしれません。 隣の年配のお客さんも「味、昔と違うね」と店主に。 「同じように作ってるんですが…」という返答。 その会話を聞きながら、“やっぱり私たちだけじゃないんだ”と感じました。 昔はなかったGoogleレビュー。 しかし返信している様子はなく、 どこか“人とのつながり”がなくなってしまったようなお店になっていて、寂しさを感じます。 ただの営業になってしまったのかもしれません。 でも、もしかしたら── 一つひとつのレビューに耳を傾けることで、 あの頃の“美味しさ”が戻ってくるのかもしれませんね。.
