We went there almost every day during our stay on Koh Tao. It's a paradise for vegans and vegetarians. Delicious Thai street food, but everything is vegan or partially vegetarian, for example with vegan "chicken," "pork," and much more. Very friendly owner. Low prices. An absolute must visit for vegans and foodies alike! Tukta is a one woman powerhouse who cooks every meal fresh to order and serves with the loveliest smile. She uses such high quality fresh fruit and veggies plus her meat alternatives like tofu and soy protein are fantastic. The wait for your food is 100% worth it for the quality and care put into every dish. The prices are incredibly affordable for such high quality and delicious food. We came for lunch, loved it so much we came back for dinner, and we will definitely be back again tomorrow. Support this amazing local lady! After trying all vegan restaurants on the island, me and my girlfriend ended up going here twice a day. Tukta is the best and most authentic restaurant. Exactly the food we expected to enjoy during our stay! The prices were so good we bought too much food, but finished every time I strongly recomment Chili Tahu, Ginger Tahu, Mango Salad and Papaya Salad. Very gooood!!! Busy in the evening and a solo chef, so you might have to wait for a table. But it is worth it! Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian options: Vegan!!
