My laptop and I visit a lot of cafes. As an author, I’m always looking for good places not only to eat and drink but to sit and write for hours. As a teacher, I believe in scoring according to various criteria. With that in mind, these are my opinions about this one. Food: **** (I tried the egg croissant) Drinks: ***** (I had the hazelnut latte) Prices: **** Variety of Menu Options Available: **** Variety of Non-Coffee Drink Options: **** English Menu? yes Wifi Available? yes Pleasant Environment/Comfortable to Write In: ***** Customer Service: ***** Additional Comments: UBRO Coffee is a clean and classy little cafe tucked away on a side street by Rotary Park. Apparently the name is short for “Ubiquitous Robotics”. I don’t see any evidence of robotics here, but they sell wrist braces, back braces, etc. in addition to the usual cafe drinks (sparkling juices and a few teas, etc. in addition to coffee) and a few food options (like bagels, croissant sandwiches, & cinnamon rolls). Prices are reasonable and the environment is quite pleasant. When the lady saw I had brought my laptop, she even offered me the use of a charger. I’ve been here an hour so far, and no one else has come in. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet to work or hang out, why not give UBRO Coffee a try and help keep them in business?
