Had lunch here. Beautifully decorated and furnished restaurant. Good service. Food was excellent. Fattoush salad was a bit sour for my liking. Chef was very nice to come out to our table to explain about why the dish was sourish etc which makes total sense. Chicken was juicy and tender, rice was flavorful. All the side dips with pita go so well together. Will definitely be back to try more dishes. Price per person: $70–80 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Pita and Hummus, Hummus, Falafel

First time at Ummi and already looking for excuses to go back asap. We went in for lunch and both our server and the Chef warmly greeted us. We are vegan and were enticed by the vast amount of options, so we hope that they stay this vegan-friendly. We enjoyed how herbacious and aromatic the falafel and tabbouleh were -few restaurants bother to make the tabbouleh so green, like a bright herb salad-, that you could taste the char in the baba ghanoush, and that the pita came puffed, warm and baked to order. Bonus points for having Arack and great cocktails, and sides of harissa and toum, and extra olive oil for the table -which tasted fruity and fresh rather than oxidized as if often the case. Last but not least, another dish we come across a lot as vegans but is usually disappointing is the hummus. This one was silky smooth as advertised, clearly made with care and pride. Next time we'll end with some mint tea! The service and level of attention paid to the food are reflected in the price point, which is also supported by the luxurious decor and ambiance, making it suitable (and well worth it) for celebrations for groups of sizes 3 and up. Authentic Lebanese Dining at Its Finest – A Hidden Gem in Robertson Quay My wife and I explored a few restaurants around Robertson Quay before deciding on UMMI Lebanese Dining—and we’re glad we trusted our gut. From the moment we entered, we were impressed by the warm, stylish ambiance and genuine hospitality. Kathleen welcomed us with such charm and enthusiasm that we were quickly sold on staying. Reyel, the manager, was equally accommodating, making sure we had a great table and everything we needed. We ordered generously, including a bottle of wine, and every dish that came out was packed with flavor and authenticity. The highlight? After the meal, Chef Ali Assaf personally came out to say hello and share a bit about one of the dishes—something not even on the menu. That level of passion and pride in the food really stood out. I didn’t get to tell him this directly, but I hope he and his wife find their way to the Philippines soon—maybe for a honeymoon in Palawan or Siargao. They deserve it! UMMI is more than just a beautiful restaurant—it’s a full-on dining experience. The setting is elegant yet relaxed, the plating and tableware are beautiful (even the ceramic plates caught our attention), and the flavors are unforgettable. Thank you to Kathleen, Arvin, Reyel, and especially Chef Ali for a truly wonderful evening. We’ll absolutely be back—and will be recommending UMMI to friends visiting Singapore.
