Well, if you’re after nothing but pretentious luxury with zero actual quality, this place is exactly where you need to go. We got stuck right at the entrance. A staff member in her twenties just brushed us off coldly and told us to head to the waiting area, saying we were number two in line. She handed us two menus while basically talking down to us the whole time. No prior notice, no proper guidance at all. We were herded into that cramped entryway, then snapped at impatiently to wait outside instead. And to make it worse, it was pouring rain out there with not a single shelter in sight, leaving us standing there soaking wet.

Umu in Jeju is a must-visit if you’re a pudding lover. Their custard pudding is incredibly soft, silky, and just melts in your mouth — no wonder it’s their signature! They also offer a variety of other flavors, but the classic custard really shines. At around $7.50 each, it’s definitely on the pricier side, but worth trying at least once for the quality and texture alone. A delightful little treat!
