一つ一つ丁寧に造るところをライブで見れて、提供時の丁寧な説明、各デザートの素材の組み合わせは台湾らしいと感じた。とても興味深い組合せ。とても良い時間を過ごしました。. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: NT$2,000+

This review is long overdue. I've been traveling and still have a backlog of reviews from last year. I visited Una-Verse in April 2025. Una previously worked as a pastry chef at a Michelin starred restaurant among other fine dining restaurants before opening her own dessert-focused restaurant. Interestingly, the only multi-course tasting menus centered entirely around desserts that I've experienced have all bee in Taiwan. I guess Taiwanese really love their sweets. Una herself is very kind and approachable, and she took the time to explain each dessert in detail. The restaurant is modern and sleek, with light wood tones throughout. I especially like the counter seating, which lets diners watch the chefs at work and interact with them while they prepare the next course. The menu focuses on modern interpretations of Taiwanese desserts with a French influence. There were also a few savory bites in between courses, which was a nice surprise. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience and one I would definitely recommend. Hubby went with the alcohol pairing while I chose the non-alcoholic pairing, and both were excellent. We stopped here on our way back to Taipei after visiting a caviar farm for lunch, and it turned out to be the perfect stop that hubby had planned ahead of time. Reservations are required.
