Utapao Cafe - A beautiful and relaxing hidden gem Utapao Cafe is located in a truly beautiful area and offers a fantastic, laid-back atmosphere. The beach here is remarkably clean, providing stunning scenery with great views of the sea and the mountains in the distance. It’s the perfect spot to go for a swim, or simply relax right on the sand. They have plenty of seating options under the shade, as well as nice beach swings that add to the relaxing vibe. The cafe itself serves very tasty coffee and refreshing iced drinks (the iced matcha is great!), alongside a good selection of pastries and other food if you feel like having a bite while enjoying the view. One important note for foreign visitors: because the cafe is located within a navy base, there might be times when you are denied entry at the main gate. This usually happens if there are military exercises or other official activities taking place. This is a completely normal practice for a military zone, so it's just something to be prepared for before heading out. Even though it's situated right near the international airport, we didn't happen to see any airplanes taking off or landing during our visit. Overall, a highly recommended spot to unwind, eat, drink, and enjoy a beautiful beach day! Meal type: Other Price per person: ฿1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
