I visited Ulaanbaatar Restaurant to have my first ever Mongolian meal and I absolutely loved it. I ordered three things: 1) lamb, vegetable and dumpling soup, 2) lamb khuushuur (fried pastry); and 3) Mongolian milk tea. The lamb soup (number 19 on the menu) was really good. The lamb was tender, the vegetables were cooked nicely, and the dumplings had great flavour. Overall a very hearty dish. The khuushuur was absolutely fantastic. Really delicious meat filling and the texture of the fried pastry was so tasty. The Mongolian milk tea was also very nice for me. I visited on a weekend lunchtime - there were some other groups eating there but I was able to get a table (for one person) without waiting. Overall a great experience and would love to revisit to try some other dishes. Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had lunch in there. Ordered steamed dumplings and fried meat pocket. Fried meat pocket (huushuur) was too much fat in it, dumpling seems like over cooked very dry. However milk tea with dumplings was great. Service was friendly enough, over all good experience, will come back again
