It’s a beautiful place! Nice food, nice view, staff so kindly!!! I really love here! They don’t discriminate by appearance or skin color! The treat it’s the same to all people!! I ate “鰻” (うなぎ, eel, anguila) it was delicious soft tasty. Also the tea so fresh!!! I must say that the container the food came in was super pretty. I really love it!!! The unagi tasted great. Good portion of fish and rice. The soup tasted very clean and a bit smokey, not my type but I understand how it goes well with the fish. Great view! Clean restaurant. I recommend it for anyone who wants to try unagi. They have different price options. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ¥4,000–5,000 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

I had a wonderful experience at Unagi Hiroshi Sanjo Ohashi, a newly opened branch with a fantastic Kamogawa River view. The interior felt elegant yet welcoming, with large windows that let in natural light and offered a peaceful backdrop to the meal. I was served their specialty Hitsumabushi, made with high-quality eels from Kagoshima Prefecture. The eel was perfectly grilled, crispy on the surface but soft and flavorful inside. I really enjoyed eating it in the traditional three-step style: first as it is, then with condiments, and finally with dashi poured over. Each version brought out different textures and flavors. The staff were kind and attentive, and the service was smooth. It was easy to relax and enjoy the food while looking out over the river. Overall, this was a very satisfying and memorable dining experience. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a special meal in Kyoto with a view.
