Friendly, relaxed open air bar on the same street as Jack's bar, but slightly closer from Charoen Krung Road. Great prices, a small Asahi was only 89THB. A short walk from Saphan Taksin BTS exit 3. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: ฿1–200

Great place for a beer and feed. Owner is very hospitable and the beer is always cold. Leave the hustle and bustle down the road and get in here. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: ฿400–600

Decided not to join the queue for Jack's bar. Walking back up the street, we stopped for a drink at Uncle Harry's bar. Lovely guy. Great chat. When he suggested popadums with our drinks, we were hooked. Stayed for what was the best Indian meal any of us could remember. Highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
