Had a pleasant meal at Uncle Ho’s Bistro. The pork chop rice was flavourful and satisfying—the meat was nicely grilled, tender, and paired well with the rice and sides. The lemongrass drink was especially refreshing, perfect for Singapore’s heat The space has a casual, relaxed vibe that’s great for a quick meal. Found a hidden gem! Had a really satisfying meal here and would highly recommend this place. We ordered the beef pho (beef balls + sliced beef) and it was excellent. The soup was very tasty and flavorful, and the beef slices were generous, fresh, and tender. The turmeric fish with dill noodles is an interesting and unique dish worth trying. The fish was delicious, boneless, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. The dry grilled chicken noodles were also very good. The noodles were smooth and the chicken was flavorful. The mixed spring roll platter came with both fried and non-fried Vietnamese spring rolls. The ingredients were fresh and generous, and the fried ones were crispy without being greasy. Highly recommended. We also tried the crème caramel, which was very good — not too sweet, just right, with a lovely fragrance from the burnt caramel. The lemongrass pandan drinks tasted homemade, fragrant, and not overly sweet. Service was friendly and great, and the food was served fast. Overall, the food here is excellent value for money. Portions are big, ingredients are fresh, and the seasoning is top class. Everything was well-balanced — not too sweet and not too salty. Will definitely be back.
