This is a Japanese restaurant located in San Po Kong on a side street, so it's not easy to find. The place is tidy and clean. A few years ago, I used to come here for lunch whenever I was in San Po Kong because the prices were very reasonable and the quality was good. The sashimi wasn't cut into thin slices even at those friendly prices – I believe that was the reason they had many customers during lunch. I had never been there for dinner, so I couldn't comment on that. This time was my first time trying dinner. Looking at the menu, I could see the prices have gone up, but it seems the lunch and dinner menus are now the same. I ordered the assorted sashimi rice set (includes salad and miso soup). The salad was fresh, and the miso soup tasted good with many seaweed. However, the main sashimi rice really disappointed me. In the past, it came with sliced sashimi, but now they cut the sashimi into small corner pieces excepted the scallop. It now costs HKD16x – at least HKD20 more than before – yet the sashimi portion is much smaller. If they want to use corner cuts of sashimi, they should state that on the menu. Many Japanese restaurants in Hong Kong do, but this one doesn't. I wouldn't return, nor would I recommend it to friends. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
