This place does regular tuna show on saturdays (but best check with them on availability) Show started promptly at 3.00pm, after the shop owner cut every thing up we were offered free tuna for tasting!! The tuna was so so fresh. We also bought other sushi’s in the shop after and have it along the high tables inside the shop. Everything was so so fresh - they probably do the best takeaway sushi / sashimi in town. It just brought back so much Tsukiji Market Memories Can’t wait for my next visit. I’ve visited Uoya ZEN several times and always enjoyed the fresh Japanese seafood. However, during my last visit at 18:55 (closing time 22:00), I asked the sushiman to prepare some fresh sashimi and he refused. This was disappointing, especially with over three hours left until closing. A bit more flexibility and customer focus would greatly improve the experience. Still a good spot for quality fish, but they can do better on service. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
