Amazing restaurant in Viva hotel. We had food and drinks which tasted great, the staff were friendly, nice rooftop pool to check out once on the 7th floor too! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿1–200

We have been dining at viva for almost one year, at least 10 times, and it is one of our favorite places in Phuket. The 5* performance is definitely consistent. The location on the roof top is super nice. A beautiful unblocked 270° view over parts of phuket town, lush greens, in the evenings the purple and pink skies.. outdoors are comfortable chairs, a lot of space between the tables and a dedicated smoking section, which allows non smokers to enjoy clean air. Indoors is still nice, but not as charming as outdoors.. a bit of a canteen atmosphere at the tables in the center. But the ones at the windows are still cozy, and i would rate indoors at 4 google stars. Everything, including modern washrooms, is very clean. The staff is AMAZING! Everybody is very friendly and super efficient, happy to help you to decide on your meal, and if you have special wishes, they try to cater for that. They are very attentive, e.g. our favorite waitress Yoke noticed that I like the sourdough bread, so next time she added a few more slices for me, even tough I didn't ask. Watching the guests and trying to find out what they like is a service you usually find in fine dining 5* restaurants, and Yoke is truly a gem. When it comes to food, it is great value for money with quality ingredients, freshly prepared and always yummy. Many of the pasta dishes are home made, and the gnocchi in cheese sauce or the ravioli filled with beef are highly recommend. We usually have salads, pasta and pizza, and tasted 80% of the dishes.. they are all great and offer choices from mild to spicy. It is not exactly cheap for Thailanf standards, you can easily spend 300..400 baht per dish, but many other italian places charge you a lot more for the same quality and service and a nice view. So value for money is excellent. Big big thanks to Yoke, Fonfu and the rest of the Viva team for so many nice evenings.
