During lunch, we waited 40 minutes before receiving our dishes. Although our plates were identical, they were served in 3 separate rounds, which reflected a poor organization. The food itself was not exceptional and certainly not worth the wait, and different from the menu picture. On top of that, we were charged an additional 10%, despite the fact that no service was provided. Overall, the experience was disappointing. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $150–200

This Vol.1 Cafe is seriously a hidden gem! The environment is super cozy and artsy, making you want to relax and take your time. I ordered a few dishes that really hit the spot, and overall, I was very satisfied—especially with their handmade pasta and desserts, which were truly impressive. First up, their homemade lobster-infused crab meat was rich in flavor without feeling greasy at all, leaving me craving for more. Then there was the charred white truffle chicken wings—golden, crispy on the outside and tender inside, with a delightful aroma. The handmade Cacio e Pepe pasta had a nice chewy texture, and the sauce was hearty yet light, making each bite so satisfying. I also enjoyed a refreshing lemonade with honey and lime—perfectly tart and sweet, super thirst-quenching. For dessert, the matcha Basque cheesecake was absolutely amazing—intense matcha flavor without any bitterness, just the right amount of sweetness. It paired perfectly with a cup of milk tea, making for a lovely combo. Overall, the dishes not only taste fantastic but are also beautifully plated, showing the chef’s attention to detail.
