Excellent restaurant set back a little from the busy Lat Krabang road and very close to the 711. They offer a wide selection of both Thai and Western dishes and stock a number of foreign beers. The restaurant is modern decor and very roomy. The evening I visited they were relatively busy and there was live music throughout the evening. There is a large outdoor dining area by the side of the restaurant, where I chose to sit as there were few diners outside. For dinner I ordered truffle pasta with scallops, my first time ever eating scallops in Thailand. The meal was delicious, pasta cooked to perfection, the sauce flavoursome and the scallops some of the best I have ever had; good size, plump, firm, sweet and juicy. I enjoyed Chang beer with my meal at 100 baht for a large bottle. This was the last main meal of my holidays and what a great way to finish! The total bill of my pasta dish and 3 large beers was 550 baht, very reasonable indeed. They accept major cards but there is a 5% surcharge. Varvana is a must visit if you are in the area. Update May 2026: Well it is over 2 years since my last visit and I was so looking forward to that scallop and pasta dish again. Sadly no more! Since I was there last they moved to a new location, changed menu and owners and from what I understand from wait staff will be closing down soon. A way the food we had last night was excellent, both the ribs and the meatballs. Real shame to see them go! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ฿400–500 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
