A casual and unpretentious cafe serving reasonably-priced rice and noodle meals with decent flavours and portion sizes. I especially like the signature yaki ramen, mapo tofu rice, and herbal vegetable udon soup. I also like that you can choose between ramen or udon for the noodle-based dishes, and between rice, ramen, or udon for the soup-based dishes.
The side dishes are somewhat pricier for the portion size, but still tasty. In particular, the Thai-style tofu has a good balance of sweet, spicy, and nutty flavours.
Overall, I find it a convenient and comfortable place for a simple, filling, and delicious plant-based meal.

Terrible customer service at Vegan Bowl. I ordered hot green tea as displayed in their menu but was told there were only canned ones. I then proceeded to show her that they had indicated they have hot ones and she dismissed me again. I told her my order for the food by telling her the name and rudely told me to tell her the number instead. They had no baby chair. After awhile she comes out to ask me if I wanted the hot green tea which she realized they were selling it. I asked for serviettes and she unhappily passed me 1! Terrible!
