I have been recommended to visit this place by a friend who has spent two winters at kata beach. Upon arrival we were seated right away. There were a sheet of paper on a table with crayons for your entertainment (it was probably for kids, but as an adult I also had fun lol). Anyway, we ordered vegetable salad, aspic (kholodets), manty, Kiev kotlet, and an other type of meat kotlet that I forgot a name of. Veranda place indeed were able to deliver the best taste of Russia ! We enjoyed every single item we ordered. The only setback was that servers seemed not to know what table food had to be delivered to and constantly tried to drop our dishes to an other table. Like , don’t you have table numbers? I would understand if they messed up one dish, but all ? Haha. At the end of the meal I asked a waitress to bring back a menu because I was going to have a desert, she brought a menu and never came back to check on us. We ended up asking for a check and leaving. Overall the experience was satisfying, and we will go back. To try the desert lol P.S. also I wish the crayons would not be dull.
