The bar had an offer of 100Hkd entry fee with one free drink, and all customers should get a ticket in exchange for the free drink. There were two girl receptionists standing at the entrance handling the fees and tickets stuff, however they did not hand out the tickets to us like they were supposed to. When we noticed, we went to ask them and they just said every customer should have one as they pay and walk in to the bar and they insisted that they did give us the tickets. My friends and I then checked several times and MADE SURE that we did not get anything as we paid and walked into the bar.
We talked to that two receptionists again about our situation and they simply replied there is nothing they can do if we dont get the tickets or the drinks????????♀️. Then they just turned their back on us and ignored us regardless we were standing right behind them with the problem unsolved!!!??, making us look like we are the freeloaders or what????
We asked them a few times and they kept saying the same thing and kept ignoring us. This went on for about 10-15mins and i decided to ask them to give our money back. They probably wanted to get rid of us too and finally solved(?) the issue by giving the money back to us, at least.
The thoughts my friends and I had were, its quite understandable that they were working under a noisy and busy environment and its possible to make mistakes, but this is certainly not a good way to handle your faults. Especially on the New Year’s Eve when everyone goes out to celebrate and the customers approached you with a good manner then all you give in return is arrogance and attitudes!!??
It was such an awful experience to start the new year but hopefully the rest of 2019 will go well.
