We take any claim regarding food safety extremely seriously, which is exactly why we believe such claims also need to be handled responsibly.We are very sorry that you were unwell. However, becoming sick after eating at a restaurant does not necessarily establish that the restaurant was the cause. There are many possible sources, including food or drinks consumed earlier, as well as viral infections. Having lived in Phuket for six months unfortunately does not make anyone immune to these possibilities.We operate with very strict food-safety procedures, particularly when it comes to meat, which is carefully controlled from sourcing and storage through preparation and cooking. We have also received no similar reports from other guests during this period.What concerns us is that we were never contacted directly. If you genuinely suspected our food, we would have appreciated the opportunity to investigate immediately: what you ate, when you visited, what time, and any other relevant details. Instead, a serious public accusation was made without giving our management any opportunity to look into what actually happened.We are absolutely open to investigating any genuine concern, but attributing an illness to a particular restaurant without evidence can seriously damage a business without establishing the actual cause.Whatever caused you to feel unwell, we are sorry you experienced it.
