TLDR: 5/5 hospitality 5/5 drinks 5/5 concept All amazing and great. Amazing service. Great interior - they even have a furniture store underneath! We each got 1 cocktail per person (with a total of 3 people), and in complete honesty, it was an absolutely amazing and wonderful experience - a space concept bar with good music, and a furniture store underneath! In terms of F&B and bartending culture, there are 3 main aspects in which I consider as not only important but imperative no matter where you are. 1) Concept. With a theme of space and cocktails based on the 21st century’s molecular trend, I must say that every signature has their own unique meaning, twist, and (most importantly) taste. Whether it be a sea-food twist on a Bloody Mary, or an ice cream mojito with a spaceman holding your glass, every drink has its special place within the Villa Records menu. 2) Hospitality. The moment I entered the bar, there was a worker already at the ready, prepared to seat us and take our orders. Not only was I treated with a few crisp glasses of bourbon as service shots— as a thank you for visiting our bar all the way from New York! The music is both relaxing and vibey, with comfortable seating and beautiful lighting. It’s everything you need at a bar you want to have fun, drink, and bring your friends, family, and lovers to. 3) most importantly: taste. Amazing. Absolutely amazing. Classic cocktails. Modern classics. ~moleculars~. Absolutely everything I love in a drink: from the bartending art, the flavor, science, the chemistry, the ~ mixology ~. Everything. It is a must have. If you’re nearby the Sinsa area - or if you’re by Pina&Co or Le Chamber (it’s only a 10-15minute walk, and 5-7minute cab ride) - it’s a must go to bar. A Michelin 2star at least if I may. As a final say: thank you for all of the wonderful hospitality. It was an absolutely amazing trip. Price per person: ₩20,000–30,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
