Visited Vrindavan after seeing it recommended by ChatGPT, and I’m glad I did. Overall, it was an amazing dining experience. We ordered a mix of Indian and Thai dishes. The only item we didn't really enjoy was the Thai curry, though that may simply be because it wasn't suited to our taste preferences. Apart from that, every Indian dish was excellent and truly made us feel at home. The flavors were authentic, fresh, and comforting. The main concern we had was with the billing. A 10% service charge was added, along with VAT, which increased the final bill significantly. When we asked if the service charge could be removed, we were informed that it was compulsory and could not be waived. Together, the service charge and VAT added close to 20% to the bill, which felt quite high. That said, the food quality and taste were superb, and the overall experience was very enjoyable. If you're craving authentic Indian food, Vrindavan is definitely worth a visit. Thank you to the team for serving such delicious food!Rating suggestion: (4/5) — Excellent food, but the mandatory service charge policy could be more customer-friendly. Our family didn’t feel welcomed or properly treated by the staff, which made the experience disappointing. The wait time is also long. For a 270 baht small paneer dish, we expected much better quality. However, it was not fresh and tasted like it was made from low-quality ingredients. We even experienced a stomach ache a few hours after eating. I have been to so many other restaurants that offer much better quality paneer dishes and do not compromise on value at this price point. While the vegetarian concept for vegetarian eaters is good, both the food quality and service need serious improvement. Price per person: ฿400–600 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
