Today, August 10, I went to the bar to buy a hot dog, and because I don’t speak Korean or English, I activated the translator and asked for a hot dog to take away and eat in my room, since I am staying at the hostel. I was ignored and felt humiliated. First, they ignored reading what I said, then one of them told me that there was no table and that I could not take the hot dog because there was no packaging. I said that I would go get my plate from the hostel and that this way they could put the hot dog on it, but the man simply said that it was not possible. I felt that they did not want to sell to me and did not want me to be there. I asked if there was any problem with me or with someone from the hostel. He denied it. But it was obvious, and I know exactly the reason. Another Brazilian woman who stayed at the hostel used to invite me to go to the bar, and I went there with her a few times. I don’t speak Korean and I don’t speak English, but I found out that she kept flirting with the men at the bar and talking nonsense, because she herself had already told me that. And I felt wronged and humiliated. I have never done anything like that at the bar or anywhere else. I don’t think it is fair to be treated this way because of someone else’s problem. I had even already cut contact with her because I noticed a certain maliciousness in her conversations. The men at the bar acted cruelly and unfairly toward me. I felt humiliated because I am very different from her. I went back to my room crying because I felt very bad for having gone through this. I never imagined I would go through something like this. Hi Josi,First of all, I'm sorry that I made you feel this way.I'm leaving this message because I believe there were some misunderstandings, and I'd like to explain.I think the translator didn't work properly between us. When you mentioned a "dish," I understood it as if you wanted to take our plates and cutlery outside with the food and return them after eating. Since we are a bar, we don't offer any food delivery or take-out service. That's why I answered it wouldn't be possible — it was because of our operating rules, not because of you.While we talked through the translator, the communication was a little difficult, so I may have looked serious and unsmiling. Nevertheless, I truly tried my best to serve you well and to smile. As the manager of this bar, I feel this was my fault, and I sincerely apologize for coming across that way.I hope this won't ruin your trip in Korea. And if you feel okay, I would love to talk with you again someday and clear up this misunderstanding.

Nice place for beer. Good amount of different beers available, seemed to be mostly international beer. Only drinking South Korean beer while in country so opted for the two options on tap, both very nice. Staff spoke very good English, very nice atmosphere.
