I ordered the golden fried rice with beef rendang. it said so on the box as well: beef rendang. order number is the same as my receipt. I am so sure I chose the picture with meat on top when ordering at the kiosk. so tell me why i couldn't find a single piece of beef rendang in my box when i opened it? nevermind, I tell myself it might be buried under the rice, so I keep eating. but the more I eat, the more angry I am because theres no beef in sight. I keep stirring my chopsticks hoping to find something. No meat. I eat to the bottom. I never taste a single morsel of beef. my disappointment is immeasurable. my day is ruined by wok hey at republic plaza. I pay a premium price for meat yet it was not given to me. I thought of going back to the shop to complain, but I realised there was no point as they might just accuse me of lying and say I already ate up all the beef which is why it isn't there. BUT IT WAS NEVER THERE. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Service was absolutely abhorrent. My wife came to order food yesterday dinner. When the food was ready the staff just nonchalantly placed two boxes on the counter and passed it to her as it was, expecting her to pack the boxes into the carrier bag by herself. Meanwhile the staff still nicely packaged the boxes for other customers and grab delivery riders. What’s with the discrepancy? Also the staff didn’t seem busy at the time so I don’t see any excuse. Honestly never had an issue with the food but the attitude of the service staff was reprehensible to say the least. Do better Meal type: Dinner

I placed an online order through WOK HEY’s website — and guess what? When I arrived at the Republic Plaza outlet, the staff told me (with a bad attitude) that they had no record of my order. When I asked for a solution, he simply said I could place a new order on the spot — meaning I’d have to pay again. He even mentioned that this wasn’t the first time this issue happened. If that’s true, then WOK HEY really needs to train their staff better instead of making customers feel like it’s their fault. To make things worse, their customer service was unresponsive. I called multiple times — no one picked up. Eventually, I was told Via email the only solution was a refund in 10–12 working days, and they even tried to offer me a voucher that I never received anyway. I declined the voucher. Honestly, after this experience, I have no desire to go back. Had enough with the attitude. Meal type: Other Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
