ThonglorにあるWOODs.へ。 まだ出来て半年くらいのお店のようです。 ジャンルはContemporary cuisineということで どの料理も美しく印象的なセットで 調和のとれた独特の味がgoodでした。 レストランの雰囲気も良かったです。 メニュー 1. Truffle toast トリュフの香りが漂ってきます。 トリュフの香りが柔らかく、風味もよき。 2.Shrimp tart アルゼンチン産の赤エビのタルト。 新鮮でサクサクして薄くさっぱりした味。 3. Scallop and watermelon ホタテ焼きは美味しく柔らかく 口の中で溶けて甘いスイカとの組み合わせは抜群。ソース含めバランスの取れた味。 4. Ponzu short rip 酸味のあるポン酢ソースと柔らかい肉とチーズの香りがするリゾットソースによく合う。 5. Ricotta dumpling and XO sauce 生地は柔らかくリコッタがたっぷり入っており. XOソースはまろやかな塩辛い味を与えています。 6. Chocolate yuzu and coconut このデザートは印象的で濃厚なチョコレートはゆずにぴったり。 他のメニューも試してみたいので また訪問してみたいと思います。. An extraordinary fine dining experience in the heart of Bangkok! WOODS.BKK is simply exceptional. From the moment you walk in, the warm candlelit ambiance with its beautiful arched walls and intimate seating sets the tone for a truly special evening. The food is where WOODS really shines. The Scallop & Watermelon was a revelation: the sweetness of the watermelon paired with the perfectly seared scallop in ponzu was light, refreshing, and surprisingly elegant. A dish I'm still thinking about. The Foie Gras with Pickled Celery and Truffle Purée was pure luxury, rich, silky, and beautifully balanced. And the Duck & Lotus with braised lotus roots and red wine sauce was the highlight of the evening, deeply flavourful, perfectly cooked, and plated like a piece of art. Service was warm and attentive without being intrusive. Every detail felt considered, from the house-made brioche to the stunning desserts. If you're looking for a fine dining experience in Bangkok that genuinely delivers on every level — ambiance, creativity, and flavour. This is an absolute must. Already planning my next visit.
