At Wynn Café & Bistro inside TK Palace Hotel, I had the chance to try a small variety of dishes today, ranging from local favorites to fusion plates. The kitchen offered me Kuay Teow Kua Gai with onsen egg, Kuay Teow Kua Seafood with onsen egg, the hotel’s breakfast set, and Spaghetti with crispy gourami fish. The presentation of each dish was neat and in line with hotel standards, but the flavors leaned on the salty side, which made the experience less balanced than I expected. It wasn’t disappointing, but it also wasn’t the kind of meal that left me craving for more. The breakfast set was simple and filling, while the pasta and stir-fried noodles gave off a sense of effort in blending Thai and Western influences, even if the taste didn’t quite hit the mark. What stood out more than the food itself was the atmosphere. The café was lively, filled with a buzz of conversation, making it feel energetic and welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you might enjoy sitting down for a chat or a casual meeting, even if the food doesn’t become the highlight of your day.
