Very disappointing and unpleasant experience. The fried chicken cutlet was extremely salty and did not taste fresh. Based on its texture and flavour, it tasted like frozen chicken rather than freshly prepared meat. The braised pork rice was even worse—the pork had a very strong, unpleasant odour that made it difficult to eat. I have eaten Taiwanese braised pork rice at many other restaurants, including in Sydney, and this tasted completely different. I was also shocked to find a piece of pork containing what appeared to be a pig’s nipple in my food. When I mentioned this in my Grab review, the merchant replied that pig nipples were edible and said that they also ate pig heads. Instead of understanding why a customer might find this disturbing or apologising for the experience, the merchant responded in a dismissive and inappropriate manner. This made the entire experience even more disgusting and upsetting. What disappointed me most was the merchant’s attitude. After I posted honest feedback about my experience, the response was rude, defensive, and showed no willingness to address the problems. There was no apology or concern about the food quality, and my previous review also disappeared after I posted it. Customers have the right to share honest feedback. Instead of blaming customers and reacting aggressively, this restaurant should seriously improve both its food quality and customer service. I will never return and cannot recommend this place. However, we would like to clarify that several statements in your review do not accurately reflect our restaurant or our food preparation.Our chicken cutlets and braised pork are prepared according to our established recipes and quality standards, and we take food safety and ingredient quality very seriously.Regarding the piece of pork you mentioned, our previous response was intended to explain the ingredient rather than dismiss your concerns. We understand that different people have different expectations and levels of comfort regarding certain cuts of meat.I'll say it again: chicken cutlets are not frozen and then fried.I'm very sorry if the restaurant's food doesn't suit you.
