Ordered a $6 horfun, the horfun was cold and only the sauce was hot. This is not Tze char, more like mass prepared then just pour hot sauce over it. Won't patronise again. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Had a great dinner with the dishes recommended by friends. MUST try for these dishes, they are simply delicious. Even though it's located in kopi shop but it brings back memories of all the laughter that we had since we known each other (>20yrs). Price per person: SGD 10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Seen many good reviews about the zi char. This review is solely for their salted egg chicken rice. I guess this is not their specialty. The chicken cubes are so small, not even half a tablespoon in size. It feels like they are saving costs, and the appearance of the dish feels damn cheapskate. The chicken is also deep fried to the point that it is crispy and slightly charred. The sauce is 30% salted egg, or maybe they are being stingy with real salted egg so it is mixed with other ingredients. It kind of tastes like pumpkin sauce mixed with curry/turmeric The picture speaks for itself. I compared it to normal salted egg chicken rice you see out there, like the famous Sim Lim salted egg, and the size of the meat is significantly different. This meal costs $7. It honestly feels like a scam. Just remove this item from the menu if this is the chef’s standard. Stick to normal zi char Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 1–10 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
