Wen Dao Gu breakfast restaurant has been recommended by Michelin Bib Gourmand in Taichung since 2020. It is famous for its unique dining environment and lively dining and table atmosphere located in an old house in Sanheyuan. This restaurant offers a variety of Taiwanese handcrafted dishes, such as wood-fired bucket chicken, crispy taro duck, traditional pepper seabass and crispy pig's feet, etc. It is very popular among customers, and reservations are required in advance on weekends and holidays. "Wen Tao" is the homophonic pronunciation of "my home" in Taiwanese, which reflects the warm feeling of dining at home in the restaurant. It is located next to Section 3 of Taiyuan Road, Beitun, Taichung. An ancient house is surrounded by modern high-rise buildings, which makes it particularly eye-catching. Although 4 to 5 cars can be parked in front of the restaurant, there is also a dedicated parking lot, making it more convenient to ride a bicycle. Wen Dao has a wide range of dishes, including crispy taro paste duck, spicy saliva chicken, Jinsha fresh squid, and ancient pepper-chopped seabass recommended by the staff.
