After 3 weeks in Asia eating good local food, we decided to try something more familiar, pizza. There are lots of places that sell pizza from local style with ketchup sauce and weiners to Italian restaurants costing $$$$. I found a local Jomtien hideaway a short walk from the main beach road called What's Up Dock Pizza & Italian Bistro. I love real salami and other cured meats so after reading a couple of good reviews we went for pizza. It's a nice little homey style bistro with very friendly staff. The owner was great to chat to. The dog thinks she owns the place but accepted us after a couple of minutes. No problem. The thin crust pizza had an excellent crust, tasty sauce and we had our pizza half Italian sausage and half pepperoni. The peppers add a bit of spice but nothing above mild spice. A Chang, a pizza and a great conversation and we had a night that will stand out above many when we are travelling for weeks. We recommend this for pizza and the vibe. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I enjoy the spaghetti and meatballs and the Italian sausage sandwich so much at "What's Up Dock" that I've yet to try their many other offerings.
Take note the hours listed by Google are not correct. The hours are 12pm noon to 3pm, them 5:30pm to 10:30pm. The soi it's on can be hard to locate. Turn off Jomtien Beach Rd. at the "Now Hotel". 200m on the right.
