Food offerings at the bustling White Restaurant (Jewel) are consistently flavorful and delicious as per Sembawang flagship and Suntec City outlet. The beauty of dining here has to be the premium scenic location! If seated near Jewel Rain Vortex, one gets to enjoy the mesmerizing views and sounds of cascading water up close and personal while dining The signature White Bee Hoon, a beloved favorite among foodies, is a must-eat! This homely dish, loaded with fresh, succulent prawns, squid rings, Japanese scallops plus chye sim in a sea of rich, full-bodied eggy broth, is masterfully cooked with yummy wok hei aroma. Lime juice elevates the dish; every mouthful is toothsome without being too heavy Can't resist the fresh medley of Green Dragon Vegetables with Shimeiji Mushrooms - fragrant and tasty! We like how this dish (garnished with garlic crisps) is cooked to preserve the unami richness and natural crunch Another comforting favorite is the Handmade Golden Beancurd with Dried Scallops & Mushrooms. Lightly fried on the outside while remaining delicate and soft within, this beancurd - accompanied by crunchy broccoli - is finished with fragrant dried scallops, tender mushrooms, gently braised to bring out deep savoury unami and lovely natural sweetness Golden Omelette, laced with firm prawns, delivers delicate harmony of savoury flavors in every bite Refillable Snow Pear Jasmine Tea with Rock Sugar, Longan Wolfberry Red Dates Tea and House Brewed Jasmine Tea are pleasant too Food and beverages are def delightful That said, the busser or server/waitstaff lacks thoroughness in providing complete tableware from the time we're seated to the time of serving dishes. Despite us catching the attention of passing servers to request for spoons, we only receive them on the 3rd attempt; a lowlight requiring WR's attention and improvement in its workflow and service quality. Waiting multiple attempts for basic utensils isn’t the standard we want for you, and we’ll make sure our service flow keeps that from happening again.
