I am extremely dissatisfied and upset with the service I experienced at your restaurant. This was one of the most uncomfortable and disappointing dining experiences I have ever had. From the moment I arrived, I was treated as if I did not matter. I waited to be served, but no one came to offer a menu or even acknowledge my presence. Meanwhile, I clearly observed that European and American customers were welcomed warmly, with smiles and attentive service. The difference in treatment was obvious and deeply upsetting. After being ignored for so long, I had no choice but to walk to the counter myself to place an order. Even then, the staff did not bother to look at me or assist me properly. It was as if I was invisible. The waitress—a young girl—who refused to serve me showed a very unpleasant attitude, yet I saw her behave completely differently—friendly and cheerful—when dealing with Western customers. Do not tell me that she was not your staff. She was wearing the same uniform as the rest of your team, including the male waiters, and her shirt clearly had the bar name “Why Not Bar” printed on it. It was obvious she worked there. Her behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. The same goes for the male staff, who were also dismissive and unhelpful. The situation became even worse when I went to pay my bill. The same waitress walked away in the middle of the process to serve someone else, leaving me standing there confused and unattended. I had to wait until another staff member finally came to help me. This level of disrespect is unacceptable. I strongly feel that I was treated unfairly, and the experience came across as discriminatory and racist. No customer should ever be made to feel this way. Overall, I am extremely unhappy and offended by the service. I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. Dear Louis, We regret to hear about your negative experience at the neighboring restaurant. It appears that the service you received was unsatisfactory. Please note that Why Not Bar employs only one female cashier whose primary responsibility is handling transactions, NOT customer interactions. In situations where patrons are seated by themselves, it may not always be immediately apparent that they require assistance. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. It is important to clarify that your review seems to be more relevant to the restaurant next door rather than our establishment. Thank you for your understanding.
